Bastar Police: Human face of security forces exposing anti-people attitude of Naxalites

Kondagaon. Bastar Police: The most useful roads for the general public are often damaged by Naxalites with anti-development and anti-people ideologies in Bastar region, due to which the ambulance does not reach the village in case of emergency to the villagers, which leads to the hospital in the right time. Due to not being able to reach, many times the general public has to face the loss of life.

On the one hand, while the security forces deployed in Bastar region are continuously taking action against the Maoists, on the other hand they do not shy away from helping and serving the general public on various occasions. By reaching out to the general public on various occasions by the security forces deployed in Bastar region, sometimes medical services, sometimes ration, clothes and other types of help are being provided. The people of Bastar also now consider the police personnel as the biggest companion of their happiness and sorrow.

While causing a similar incident, the road of village Rewali under district Dantewada was cut off at many places by the Naxalites, due to which the movement of vehicles was obstructed. Meanwhile, pregnant Mrs. Kurma Nande, husband Kurma Deva, resident of village Rewali Patelpara, at the age of 35, started labor pains and started suffering from pain.

The family members called the ambulance, but the ambulance could not reach the village as the road was cut by the Maoists. Seeing the woman’s condition becoming critical, her family members had left for the hospital with the pregnant woman in the cot, that on the way the DRG force personnel saw the woman being taken away in the cot.

Introducing humanity immediately by the jawans, the pregnant woman was brought to the main road by lifting her on her shoulders in a cot and was immediately taken to Palnar Health Center in her patrol vehicle. In the health center, the woman gave birth to a healthy child. By taking the pregnant woman to the hospital on time by the DRG force, the life of both the woman and the newborn could be saved when the woman got medical attention. Appreciating the DRG force, the woman’s family and villagers said that in this difficult situation.

In the clock, the police helped her and took her to the hospital, so that the delivery of the woman could be done easily and both mother and child are safe. He expressed many thanks to Dantewada DRG force.

Sundarraj P., Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range said that for the last four decades, the banned and illegal CPI Maoist organization has been continuously providing roads, bridges, culverts, electricity supply, education and health to the people of the area just to preserve their supremacy. Efforts are made to keep them deprived of basic facilities like service. By thwarting the conspiracy of Maoists, Bastar Police and security forces deployed in the area to bring positive change in the living standards of the people of the area.

Continuing work is being done in the public interest by risking even one’s own life. We are confident that as per the wishes of the people of the region, very soon the Maoist organization in Bastar region will be abolished and peace will be established as well as the area will get a new identity.
