how the idea of making cow dung slippers came
Actually, the idea of making slippers out of cow dung came to Ritesh with the aim of fulfilling a wish of his grandmother. Ritesh says that his grandmother always used to complain that in the village house, the furs were cold due to the dung script in the ground. Whereas due to the tiles in the houses of the city, that coolness and relief are not felt. On this matter of grandmother, Ritesh thought that cow dung cannot be smeared on the tiles of the house, in such a situation, can its slippers be made to wear on the feet? after that he Made eco friendly slippers made of cow dung for his grandmother.
They have used cow dung, guarsum and lime to make this sandal. It took about 10 days to make one sandal. 10 chappals are made from one kg of cow dung. Even if these slippers get wet in the rain for 3-4 hours, they do not get spoiled. It can be dried in the sun and used again. Seeing the slippers made for grandmother, Ritesh was ordered by other people to make such slippers and then he started making it commercially. The cost of these slippers is around Rs 400.
After seeing this invention of Ritesh, he is getting many orders of bags and slippers from many cities of the country. Till now he has made and sold about 1000 slippers.

At present, about 30 types of products are being prepared using cow dung in Gothan.
