Chhattisgarh got national award in three categories for empowerment of persons with disabilities

Raipur. Award: The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, under the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has announced the winners of the National Awards for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for the year 2020. In this Chhattisgarh has received National Award in three categories. to Chhattisgarh

The award will be presented in New Delhi on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia have congratulated the selected ones for receiving the National Award.
The Bell Press, run by the Social Welfare Department in Bilaspur, has been selected in the category of Best Braille Press for the National Award. Awarded to the local body for its excellent work in creating barrier free environment for persons with disabilities.

Naya Raipur has been selected in the category. For this, Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran will be honored with the National Award. Similarly, Nook Tea Cafe Ventures LLP of Samta Colony Raipur has been selected as Best Employer for Self Employed with Divyangjan and in the category of Placement Officer/Agency for Private or Non-Government Organization or Office.
