Chhattisgarh: For the last 36 months, continuous development works are being done by the state government in the field of electricity, water, roads, education, health and employment in the district. Realizing the vision of the government’s Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh, various development works are being done in Korba district as well. By continuously improving the means of movement of people in the district, the remote forest areas of the district are being connected in the main stream by constructing roads.
In this way, the seven kilometer length road from Rani Attari to Pasan-Pipariya has been upgraded using modern technology. The compulsion of the residents of Rani Attari to Pipariya to walk on the old ballasted road has now ended. The Pasan-Pipariya road from Rani Attari has been upgraded as a new road. With the construction of the new road, more than five thousand people of about 10 villages on the Rani Attari to Pasan-Pipariya road are getting all-weather traffic.
With the construction of the road, people are also getting the facility to travel from Korba to Korea-Baikunthpur. This road was full of WBM and dilapidated and potholed at places. Keeping in view the importance of this route, it was included in the upgradation proposal by the Gram Sadak Yojana. Administrative approval of Rs.3 crore 87 lakh has been given by the state government for the upgradation of this important road of seven kilometer length. With the completion of the upgradation work of this road, the direct connectivity of Rani Attari to Pasan has been established. With the construction of the road, the two remote ends of Korba district have been connected.
The residents of Telai Kundi etc. are getting the facility of day and night traffic. People living near the new road are getting benefits of health facilities, new employment generation, development of local markets etc. Due to the connectivity of remote Vananchal village from Pasan due to the construction of road, villagers are getting better market for buying and selling their crops. Due to ease of commuting, farmers are able to get proper price for their crops through better market.
Pasan-Pipariya road has been upgraded under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-3. Nanotechnology and waste plastic material have been used in road upgradation. The road made using nanotechnology and plastic is environment friendly. This road has been constructed by mixing waste plastic material with asphalt. The seven kilometer length Rani Attari to Pasan-Pipariya road will be constructed.
The people of the village living near the road are getting the facility for all-weather movement. Despite being the remotest part of the district, people are now getting convenience in coming and going for health, education and market even in rainy, hot and cold seasons.
