Raipur. Short Film Festival: According to the instructions of Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority, Bilaspur, Justice Arup Kumar Goswami and Justice Mr. Gautam Bhaduri, Executive Chairman, Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority, Bilaspur, short film festival based on legal awareness- Shoot for Legal Awareness Season 2020 is being organized from 9th November to 12th November at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur.
This film festival was to be held in the year 2020 but it was postponed due to Corona epidemic.
Entries of 663 films have been received in the film festival, out of which 119 have been received from Chhattisgarh, 263 from other states and 279 from abroad. Four themes were included in the organization of the film festival, under which human trafficking, rights of children – child labour, child education etc., drug eradication and rehabilitation of drug victims and cyber crime are included.
The duration of films is 5 to 10 minutes and films in languages other than Hindi, English and Chhattisgarhi language which have been subtitled in English language. In the competition, the best film will be given one lakh rupees, second prize 50 thousand rupees, best super short film 21 thousand rupees, super short first runner up rupees 11 thousand, second runner up rupees 5 thousand 100. Apart from this, the Special Jury Award will also be given to five films.
The film festival will be inaugurated on November 09 and the prize distribution ceremony will be held on November 12 at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur.
