
Bangalore. Puneeth Rajkumar: Renowned Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar passed away today. It is being told that Puneet Rajkumar suffered a heart attack during a workout in the gym and after that he was admitted to Vikram Hospital, where he died. Puneeth Rajkumar has acted in 29 Kannada films. Fans fondly call him Appu.
He started his career as a child artist. He also won the National Film Award for Best Child Actor for his performance in the 1985 film Bettada Hoovu. He has received the Karnataka State Award for Best Child Actor for his stellar performances in the films Chalisuva Modagalu and Yeradu Nakshatragalu.
Puneeth Rajkumar, the son of the most popular Kannada film actor, Self Rajkumar, was 46 years old. He acted in 12 films as a child actor. He used to run orphanages, 19 cow sheds and 16 old age homes. He had openly helped people during the pandemic period and now wanted to work on girl child education.
He had also adopted 1800 orphan children whose education expenses were met by him. They did not charge a penny for any sporting social event. He was the anchor in Kaun Banega Crorepati Kannada. Many times he had collected money for charity by singing the song himself.
