This opportunity, she got as a woman mate in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (Mahatma Gandhi NREGA).
It was from here that the real change took place in her life and she has been fulfilling the responsibility of female mate in the village continuously for the last 10 years. Due to her dedication and dedication towards her work, the workers and villagers of Mahatma Gandhi NREGA have started calling her by the name of Engineer Didi and now this has become her identity.
Smt. Pulojma is a resident of Baloda development block, Junadih, village panchayat of Khairwar district. She belongs to Scheduled Tribe category.
He told that they have a joint family. His father-in-law owns one acre of land. On which the family has been living. It is said that time tests every person, so his family was also going through the test of difficult times. Due to the changing family developments, the responsibility of nurturing his family had fallen on him. Due to poor financial condition, she was unable to pay much attention to her children.
Constantly battling with these problems, one day he came to know through the village employment assistant Mr. Mahendra Kumar Chausle that there is a need of mate in the works of Mahatma Gandhi NREGA. In such a situation, Mrs. Pulojma’s studies till class XII came in handy and she got the job of mate from the panchayat on 11 October 2011.

He told the MGNREGA workers at the workplace, especially women, how to avoid COVID-19, and exhorted them to wear masks regularly and wash their hands from time to time as well as maintain a certain physical distance to work. This was the reason that during the pandemic in the year 2020-21, 548 women got employment of 19 thousand 194 man-days under the scheme. At the same time, in the current financial year 2021-22, employment of 10 thousand 460 man-days has been earned by 465 women so far.
