New Desk: Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned from the post of Punjab Congress President. He was angry about the formation of the Punjab cabinet. After the resignation, Sidhu said – cannot compromise with the future of Punjab. Sidhu had recently taken over the post of Punjab Pradesh Congress President. He was having a dispute with former CM Captain Amarinder, after which the former Chief Minister resigned and Charanjit Singh Channi was made the new Chief Minister.
According to media sources, he is upset with the cabinet division in Punjab. He also has differences with Chief Minister Channi. It is being said that Rahul Gandhi and Channi are taking all the big decisions together.
Sidhu has sent a letter of his resignation to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. In his resignation, Sidhu wrote – cannot compromise with the future of Punjab. Compromise destroys a person’s character. I will keep working for Congress.
