Automobile: New Generation WagonR is coming with brand new design and new features, know launch details

Automobile: Suzuki Wagon R 2021 Features and Specifications: Japan’s leading automobile company Suzuki (Suzuki) is preparing to launch the new generation model of its popular hatchback Suzuki WagonR (Suzuki WagonR) soon. According to the report, the global debut of the next generation WagonR model will take place later this year in the month of December.

This model will be the seventh generation of Suzuki WagonR. Available in the Indian market, the Maruti WagonR was launched in 2019 and is the third generation model. It was offered with the Heartect platform, better design, bigger interiors and more powerful engine.

Talking about the 2022 Suzuki WagonR, the new generation model gets a more angular design instead of boxy. Most of the changes made in the new WagonR are seen in the front of the car. It gets a redesigned grille, tweaked headlamps, new air dam and bonnet. The new squarish arches, flat door panels and new alloy wheels add to its side profile. Apart from the newly designed taillamps, the rear looks the same as the current model.

engine and power
The new 2022 Suzuki WagonR will get the R06D, 3-cylinder, in-line engine. This engine is equipped with rapid combustion system and cooled EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation). If reports are to be believed, the mild hybrid system may also get an update. Transmission options of the car will include a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.

color option
Along with the new generation model, the Japanese carmaker can also include new color options in the model lineup. At present, the Japanese-spec WagonR comes with 6 color options. These include colors like Moonlight Violet Pearl Metallic, Urban Brown Pearl Metallic, Blush Black Pearl, Active Yellow, Bliss Blue Metallic and Phoenix Red Pearl.
