
Mahasamund. IAS officer Namrata Jain posted in Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh and Nikhil Rakhecha, IPS posted in Dhule, Maharashtra, held each other’s hands in a very simple ceremony.
Both of them made each other their life partner by doing court marriage in front of other officers of the administration. Mahasamund District Collectorate witnessed this unique department on Friday.

The process of court marriage was completed in the collectorate room. Both Namrata Jain and Nikhil are officers of the 2019 batch.
Collector Doman Singh, Captain Divyang Patel, CEO District Panchayat and all the District Magistrates were present in the marriage of Nikhil and Namrata.
Namrata Jain is originally from Geedam in Dantewada district. Coming from a normal middle-class family, Namrata Jain’s success in UPSC filled Bastar with pride. Namrata is currently posted as SDM in Sarai Pali block.
Namrata achieved great success in UPSC and secured 12th rank in All India. He had made Chhattisgarh proud with his success. Prior to this, she was serving in Madhya Pradesh after getting selected for the post of IPS in the UPSC examination.
Namrata’s spouse IPS Nikhil Rakhecha is originally from Hyderabad, IPS Nikhil Rakhecha son Ashok Kumar Rakhecha is training in Dhule district of Maharashtra.
