The segment of electric bicycle is continuously growing in the country. Even a company like BMW has recently introduced its concept electric cycle. One such electric cycle has been introduced by Voltron Motors, which costs up to Rs 4 on a full charge and can go up to 100 km on a single charge.
Voltron Motors has launched two models of this electric cycle VM 50 and VM 100. The range of this electric cycle is from 75 km to 100 km in a single charge. The biggest thing is that the cost of fully charging it is less than 4 rupees. However, it may vary slightly depending on the states on the electricity rates.
The problem with all the electric bicycles in the market so far is that they are all single seat rideable. Voltron Motors CEO Prashant Kumar claims that this is his country’s first double ride electric cycle. Its maximum speed can be 25 km per hour.
The price of VM 50 from Voltron Motors is Rs 35,000. While the VM 100 is its high-end model, which costs Rs 39,250. It is an electric cycle, so customers do not need any kind of registration for this. The company has introduced it in black, yellow, blue and red colors.
