Mumbai. The Bilaspur High Court on Thursday acquitted a man accused of marital rape, saying that the husband had not had sexual intercourse with his legally married wife or committed any sexual act, whether by force or against her will. Yes
Now, actress Tapasi Pannu, who is quite vocal about her opinion, has responded to the same. He tweeted, “Just listen to it now.” In fact, while hearing the case in Bilaspur High Court, the court of Judge NK Chandravanshi acquitted a married man of rape with his own wife. At the same time, the court had given this comment. The court had said that in any marital relationship, if the wife is over 18 years of age, having physical relation against her will cannot be rape.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Tapasi will appear in the next film ‘Loop Lapeta’ with co-star Tahir Raj Bhasin. His upcoming films include sports drama films like ‘Rashmi Rocket’, ‘Shabhas Mithu’. She will be seen again in ‘Dobara’ with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, where she will share screen space with her ‘slap’ co-star Powell Gulati.
