Taking this link further, the district administration is working to rejuvenate Devgudi site in 143 gram panchayats and establish it as a tourist center and to preserve the invaluable culture and heritage here. This will enable the tourists to get acquainted with the different culture, civilization, food, way of life, jewelery and dialect of Dantewada district. At the same time, for the first time, they will find a place where the tribals will be able to know and recognize the civilization and culture of the region as well as feel closely.

District Dantewada has nurtured various tribal cultures, where each village has a place of faith according to tradition. That place is known as Devgudi. The faith of the villagers resides in Devgudi, no festival in the village is complete without worship in Devgudi. The district administration has taken the initiative to protect and rejuvenate Devgudi as a symbol of faith in the villages.

Mainly renovation work of Devgudi site, fruit-shaded plantation work in Devgudi complex, drinking water system for villagers, construction of shed for Devgudi in which villagers can sit properly and perform rituals and worship, construction of toilets for toilet at designated place Work and channel link mesh wire facing work is being done to Devgudi campus.

Devgudi rejuvenation work not only construction work but it will also bring unparalleled change in the social, practical lifestyle of the villagers. 76 Devgudis have been rejuvenated in the district, the rejuvenation of the remaining Devgudis is in progress. After the completion of Devgudi rejuvenation work, all the villagers will take action (resolution) that the index of points in their gram panchayat – anemia free, dirt free panchayat, malnutrition free,

The category will be prepared on the basis of performance of 07 points like malaria free, 100 percent school children enrollment in school, institutional delivery of 100 percent pregnant women and vaccination of 100 percent children and Anganwadi admission.

The best performing Gram Panchayats will be categorized in which first place will be marked with green color between 100-91 marks, second place will be marked with yellow color between 90-75 marks and third place will be marked with white color below 75 marks. Panchayats which get first place in the above indices will be given priority in every work on behalf of the district administration.

This will also arouse the curiosity of the panchayats which have got low rank to perform well for the achievement of the said indicators. Thus an atmosphere of competition will be created in the Gram Panchayats to achieve superiority among themselves. So our district will perform best in these indicators. And thus our district will be able to become prosperous in sanitation, health and the resolution of Garhbo Nawa Dantewada will be realized.
