New Delhi. Jan Rasoi: Former Indian cricketer and BJP MP from East Delhi region Gautam Gambhir has opened in Padpad Ganj- Vinod Nagar area near Mayur Vihar of Delhi.
An old building has been renovated and a luxurious kitchen has been established. Earlier, Jan Rasoi canteen was done in Gandhinagar and then in New Ashok Nagar. This is the third Jan Rasoi in Delhi where people are being fed full meals by Gautam Gambhir Charitable Trust for just ₹ 1.
Gambhir had started the first Jan Rasoi on 24 December 2020 last year in his parliamentary constituency Gandhinagar. Through the Gautam Gambhir Foundation, the former Indian cricketer is providing delicious healthy food to the people for just Re 1. This kitchen has become the support of many poor and working people in Delhi. People are happy with the establishment of a new kitchen in Vinod Nagar area.

On social media, his colleague MP Manoj Tiwari and fellow cricketer Harbhajan Singh, including Kailash Kher, Hansraj Hans and many others have appreciated his work. Manoj Tiwari wrote in his tweet that feeding thousands of people is not a small thing.
Now Jan Rasoi has started at 3 places in Delhi. Through these 3 kitchens, about 4 thousand people are being fed healthy and tasty food every day. The food menu here is also very special.
The first mass kitchen was started in December 2020
Last year, this foundation had started the Jan Rasoi ‘Ek Asha’ in Gandhinagar, the parliamentary constituency of Gambhir in the capital Delhi in December 2020. Under this, people are being fed food for just Re 1.
During the lockdown period, when people were going through difficulties, Gautam Gambhir started the first kitchen, fulfilling the duty of being a true public representative. Now slowly the scope of his noble work is increasing.
Gautam Gambhir Foundation is providing food for just Re 1 in Delhi for the purpose of ‘Food for All’. Now a total of 12000 people will be able to get enough food per month in all the three kitchens.
