New Delhi. UNSE: India took over as the President of the United Nations Security Council on the 2nd of this month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over this virtual conference.
The biggest thing is that as the President of the United Nations Security Council, India got the chair with a huge support of 184 votes against 192. That is, a total of 184 countries out of 192 members of the United Nations, strongly supported India for this chair.
There is a ruckus in the Pakistani Parliament regarding this matter. The MPs there are feeling strongly on this achievement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There is also a vigorous debate on this matter in his Parliament. A Pakistani MP is mentioning in a video that even his fraternal countries, ie Islamic countries, have strongly supported India for this post. These days a video of a debate being held in the Pakistani Parliament is going viral with great speed.
In this video, a Pakistani MP is seen doing that being elected the President of the United Nations Security Council is not a big deal. After this he further says that, but it is a big deal to come to this post with a total of 184 votes out of 192. The other countries which are elected usually get 140,145,150 votes. Along with this, let us mention that our Brother Hood countries have also supported India. He says that Pakistan should think very fast about its foreign policy as well as other things now.
The whole world knows that during the last 12 years, India’s foreign policy has set many new dimensions. Due to the continuous activism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the executive steps taken by the now External Affairs Minister Jaishankar Prasad, including former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, India has now made a different identity in the world. India has very good relations with all other countries except some countries of the world.
India’s strengthening foreign policy has left Pakistan on the road of worry. Pakistani parliamentarians are worried that the nation which calls them their brother country or Humkaum, they are not supporting them. Pakistani parliamentarians should reflect on the fact that India has not declared itself as a Hindu or Islamic country, but is a secular nation.
As a strong secular nation, respecting all religions, it has established fraternal relations with every religious country in the world.
He expects a similar relation from Pakistan and has been continuously taking meaningful steps, but on the contrary, Pakistan has always remained hostile to India due to its small thinking and has been showing a sense of enmity. Instead of having this kind of discussion regarding India in the Pakistani Parliament, they should think in a meaningful subject and form an opinion on friendly relations with India. In this, the way to their well being is seen.
