Chhattisgarh: Special DG Juneja reached Bastar, reviewed the Naxal operation with local officials

Kondagaon. Chhattisgarh: Special Director General of Police, Naxal Operations, Ashok Juneja reached district Bastar on 4 August 2021 on a two-day visit to Bastar division.

During this, the development works of the area and the Naxal operation were reviewed with senior officers of police and central paramilitary forces of district Bastar.

During the visit of District Bijapur and Sukma by Special Director General on August 5, 2021, while discussing necessary with the officers of the Police and Central Paramilitary Force regarding development works and Naxal operations, discussions with the officers and jawans of DRG/STF/CRPF and security measures were taken. Necessary guidelines were given in this regard.

Necessary guidelines were given in the meeting regarding the speedy completion of other basic facilities like roads, electricity, culverts and culverts approved by the government in the vulnerable areas. Under the campaign against Naxalites, discussions were held regarding making a special action plan in the interior and border area as well as effective action against the Maoists.
