
Dubai. The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Sunday included Mongolia, Tajikistan and Switzerland as members in its 78th Annual General Meeting. After getting the membership, now the teams of these three countries will be able to take part in the international level cricket tournament.
In the online meeting of the ICC, Mongolia and Tajikistan were welcomed as the 22nd and 23rd members of the Asia region, while Switzerland is the 35th member of Europe. The total number of ICC members now stands at 106, which includes 94 associates. ICC General Manager (Game Development) William Glenwright said, “All three applicants showed an impressive commitment to promoting the sport, with a particular focus on women and youth. We stand ready to help them achieve their potential.
