A C-130 aircraft of the Philippines Air Force has crashed today. The accident happened in the southern Philippines. At least 92 people were present in this plane, out of which the dead bodies of 17 people have been recovered. So far 45 people have been rescued from the burning wreckage of this plane. At least 30 people are expected to be killed in the accident. All those killed were soldiers on board the plane. The search is still on for the bodies from the wreckage of the plane.
Most of the soldiers aboard this aircraft had taken basic training. These people were to be deployed on Iceland famous for terrorist activities. The Muslim population is the majority on these islands of the Philippines. Here it is common for someone to be kidnapped for ransom. That’s why a large number of soldiers are always stationed here. A terrorist organization named Abu Sayyaf is active here.
As soon as the plane fell, the officials who reached there started the work of dousing the fire. So far 45 people from the aircraft have been rescued. However, it is not yet known how it started in the plane and how this accident happened. At present, the work of evacuating the people trapped inside the plane is going on.
