
Raipur : Chhattisgarh : With a view to overcome the difficulties faced in the field of film production in Chhattisgarh state and to encourage the film production industry, the state government has now taken a major decision, authorizing all district collectors to issue NOC related to film production. Have given. Along with this, a time limit of 30 days has also been prescribed for issuing the No Objection Certificate in the time-limit by including it in the Public Service Guarantee Act. It is worth mentioning that on the initiative of Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had directed the Culture Department to take necessary action in this regard, in response to which the Department of Culture for registration, renewal for NOC for filming (movie shooting) in the state Single dashboard facility has been introduced. An order and notification to this effect has been issued from the Ministry of Culture Department, Mahanadi Bhawan Nava Raipur. According to this order and notification, the Collector of the district has been authorized to issue free no objection certificate for shooting the film. Also, for the smooth implementation of this service, Divisional Commissioner has been made a competent officer and Director Culture as Appellate Officer. A period of 30 days has been fixed covering the services to be provided under the Chhattisgarh Public Service Guarantee Act 2011. Film cell has also been formed under the Culture Department to provide necessary information, consultation and guidance regarding the application and procedure for obtaining clearance for film production.
